Royal Canin Hypoallergenic Adult Cat Food (Veterinary)

A vet-recommended dry food created for adult cats that don't tolerate the ingredients found in everyday food. Its protein is hydrolysed — broken down into pieces small enough that a sensitive immune system is far less likely to react to them — which helps calm the skin irritation and digestive upset that often come with food intolerances.

Why hydrolysed protein matters
In sensitive cats, ordinary proteins can trigger an allergic response. Here the soya protein is reduced to a very low molecular weight, so the body is much less likely to recognise it as a trigger — that's the principle behind a true hypoallergenic diet.

Who it's for
A complete dietetic food for adult cats being managed for adverse food reactions with skin and/or digestive signs — including chronic diarrhoea, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), exocrine pancreatic insufficiency (EPI), small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO), and food-linked skin conditions.

Not suitable for kittens or growing cats, or pregnant and nursing cats.

Feed only on the advice of a veterinary professional. We recommend a vet check at least every six months while your cat stays on this food, and contacting your vet right away if their condition changes. When switching from another food, transition gradually over 7–10 days and stick to the recommended daily amount.

Composition
Rice flour, hydrolysed soya protein isolate, animal fats, rice, vegetable fibres, minerals, beet pulp, hydrolysed poultry liver, soya oil, fish oil, fructo-oligosaccharides, borage oil, marigold meal. Protein sources: hydrolysed soya protein isolate (23.5%), hydrolysed poultry liver (2.0%). Carbohydrate source: rice (42.1%).
